Bug Affecting New Uploads to External Evaluations

Since the most recent update to Interfolio Review, Promotion and Tenure, there is a bug affecting the usability of documents added to the "External Evaluations" section. After uploading, you cannot delete, rename, or change settings for these documents, and reviewer members of committees cannot see them. Only documents uploaded into "External Evaluations" on or after January 23, 2019 are impacted. Interfolio is actively working to fix this bug. We do not yet have an expected fix time, but there is a fairly simple workaround.

External Evaluations Upload Workaround

For any new documents you intend to go into the External Evaluations section:
  1. Upload the new document(s) into the Primary Documents section.
  2. Click the checkbox for each document.
  3. On the blue action bar, click "Move" and choose "External Evaluations"
  4. Click and drag your documents from the bottom of the External Evaluations section to their proper positions. 
If you have already uploaded documents into "External Evaluations" that are causing problems, please inform your contact in the Provost's Office or GUMC Faculty Affairs, or write to Christopher Davis (davisc@georgetown.edu) and Charlie Leonhardt (leonhardt@georgetown.edu) in UIS.
